We all know there are vehicles that are nearly identical. For example the Silverado and Sierra, FR-s and BRZ, (previous generation) Fusion and Milan. I prefer the Sierra, BRZ and Milan. Give us some other examples, as well as your preferences and how you choose.

Mopar's guilty of a few. However, the Daytona was actually better than the Superbird because it had a lower drag coefficient.
Roadrunner, GTX, and Charger were basically the same, especially in 1971.
Cuda and Challenger too.
The later Lincolns and Thunderbirds (even the Mustang) shared parts from the same bins.
Edit: I just now realized how much of a PITA it'd be to swap a GTX nose onto a Charger body or vice versa...shit.

I generally agree with the more expensive option rule. However, I prefer the current Tahoe over the Yukon and would just save my money and get a Toyota SUV over its Lexus counterpart.

there's always something different, even if it's just a few hundred dollars less and you have to drive a mercury instead of a Ford
